Only full peak members are allowed in the gym after 10pm till 6am.

Yes its easy.  You either can phone (Dunfermline 01383 636464 or Kirkcaldy 01592 646465) or go into the gym and book the relevant class and pay.  This will book your space in the class.  Please arrive 15 mins before the class starts and let the receptionist know you booked as a non member and they will ask you to sign a disclaimer.

Yes, as long as you are over 16 years of age.  You can buy a Day Pass which costs £5 (classes between 8am to 4pm), or £8 (classes between 4pm to 10pm).  This gives you access to all our facilities.  You can buy the Day Passes at reception. Please arrive 15 mins before a class.  It gives you plenty of time to sign a disclaimer

Of course! Just come to Reception in either Dunfermline or KDY branch and choose from our wide selection of whey proteins, supplements,frozen meals, gym clothing and accesories .

It is important that you maintain payments on your contract for its duration. If you are not sure how many months remain, please email accounts@gym64.com and someone will get back to you at the earliest opportunity.

Oops! Cancelling your Direct Debit is a breach of contract until the full term of your contract has been fulfilled and your notice period has ended. Charges may be applied in order to reinstate your membership and direct debit. Please email us asap at accounts@gym64.com. Clubwise is the company that take the direct debit ob behalf of Gym 64.

If, for example, you had insufficient funds in your account, please email accounts@gym64.com  as soon as possible and someone will get back to you to discuss your payments. It is important that your payments to gym64/Clubwise are taken on time otherwise late charges may be added.

You are eligible if you work for the NHS, Paramedic service, police force, fire service, army, navy, marines or the coast guard service(ID is required on sign up for all).This special membership costs £19.99 per month and gives you limited access to the club from 10pm to 4pm the following day.

Yes, you are very lucky.  They will have to sign the direct debit form, so remember to bring them with you when you are becoming a member.  They can pay a yearly membership too.

This is a common question relating to yoga and pilates classes, and the answer is no, everything is provided for you so you don’t have to worry. Of course, if you would prefer to use your own mat or other equipment, then please feel free to do so, but you certainly don’t have to.

What is Virtual Reality (VR)? 2016-10-25T09:58:53+00:00

This is a full class that is played through DVD onto a screen for you to do the class at a time that suits you. We have disks at Reception for Insanity, BodyAttack, BodyCombat, but members can bring their own too. Just ask a member of staff to put a DVD on for you when the VR studio is not already in use. The only VR classes that are currently timetabled are ‘SpinVR’.

Yes of course! At At Gym64 we recently devised a slimming club class, called Slim64. This class is FREE to all members, and £5 for non members, and includes weekly topics for discussion such as what are the best sources of protein, or how to calculate your metabolic rate, followed by a weigh-in and supportive discussion around your goals.

Lucky for you! Included in every membership is a FREE 30 minute MOT with one of our professional staff, as well as a FREE training plan customised to suit your needs. During your 30 minute Training Plan booking, your trainer will show you how to use each of the equipment on the gym floor and make sure you can use it safely and without discomfort. Your MOT and Training Plan can be redone every 6 weeks, all you need to do is book an appointment with your trainer as soon as you join, and then every 6 weeks or more thereafter, whenever you feel like you need some more assistance.

Health MOT (30 min apt): A qualified instructor will take you through several health indicators to help you track your progress as you become healthier and fitter. We’ll measure your bodyweight, bodyfat percentage, BMI, metabolic rate, blood pressure and lung capacity (VO2 max – Dunf only). We recommend you book for MOT’s every 6 weeks to help keep you on track to reach your goals.

Training Program (30 min apt): In this session your instructor will begin by discussing your goals and injuries in an initial consultation. They will then write your training program with direction from you, then take you personally around the gym floor to the equipment on your training program and show you exactly how to use it, meaning you always know what you are doing and never have to be stuck. Again, this fantastic service is available for you every 6 weeks, and we highly recommend you take advantage of it.

Nutritional advice (30 minutes or less): Our knowledgeable staff are available to assist you with nutritional advice and tips to help you reach your goals. Before coming for this appointment, please have a 7 day food diary ready of EVERYTHING you ate and drank in the week before your appointment. If you could use my fitness pal, an online food calorie counting software, this will help you and your instructor, to quantify your daily calorie intake, and help you restrict calories in the future if that will help you reach your goal. The instructor will give you a multitude of suggestions and hints for adjusting your current eating plan. This session can be booked as often as you need, and can take as little as 15 minutes.

All our classes are structured to be enjoyable and challenging for all ability levels. Our instructors always notice new faces in class and will be happy to chat to you about modifying the workouts should you need to, so that you can gradually increase your fitness over time. If you are in any doubt, just speak to the instructor before class begins.

You can use the gym from age 14 if you are accomponied by an adult but this is restricted to the cardio section and cardio classes. You can use the full gym unaccompanied at the the age of 16.

We always advise members to pre-book their classes. The easiest and quickest way to do this is through your member account, which will be set up for you as part of your signup process. You can book classes at Reception or over the phone too, but we don’t advise this as it can take up lots of time and results in queues at the Reception desk. Priority for classes is always given to our members first, then to Day Pass customers and guests.

Yes, we are open from Monday 6am right through to Saturday 11pm. We have to close overnight Saturday and Sunday for essential systems maintenance, opening at 8am on Sunday morning and closing at 11pm Sunday evening. It all kicks off again on Monday morning, 6am.
