TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises for a full body workout. Expect to develop strength, balance, and core stability in this class. This class uses a TRX Suspension Trainer to work with your body weight and gravity targeting all major muscle groups. Our instructors will coach you through exercises through different planes of movement for great results. This class is suitable for all abilities so why not incorporate it into your training!
Flex & Flow
In this class we will be slowing things down a bit and, using inspiration from Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates, we will be focusing on the mobility and flexibility of the body, allowing this to develop further over time. This class will also help bring more strength and tone to the body as we practice our sun salutations and warrior poses. As we unwind from whatever the week may have thrown our way, we will finish with a 5 minute meditation – the perfect way to let all your stressors go.
Kettlebells will help improve functional strength which will target multiple muscle groups helping with everyday tasks. At Gym64 we provide a large weight range of kettlebells in our clubs from 4kg-32kg. Our instructors will guide and coach you through a class teaching you how to use kettlebells and different exercises with them while maintaining great technique. This class can combine strength, cardio, and some flexibility using explosive movements to create a large calorie burn. Expect to work hard, have fun, learn new movements, and get real results! This class is suitable for all abilities.
Core64 is our very own 15-minute core class. Expect to do a range of exercises such as planks, hovers, crunches and much more! Feel the benefits of building core strength to help with stability throughout the body and in everyday life. This class is achievable for all levels of fitness and is quick and convenient.
BODYPUMP is the original barbell class using light to moderate weights with high repetition. BODYPUMP is an all over body workout targeting all major muscle groups using barbells and plates to help you build strength and get lean and toned. Our instructors will coach you through the scientifically backed moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation, and great music to drive you to the end. This class is for both beginners and advanced levels of training. Aim for 2-3 BODYPUMP classes a week for great results.
BODYCOMBAT is a high-energy martial art inspired workout. This class is non-contact and suitable for all levels of fitness as options are provided from beginner to advanced from our instructors. Every track you will be motivated to work hard, learn how to punch & kick, feel empowered and get the most out of cardio training which will destroy lots of calories. You’ll release stress, develop coordination, have a blast, and feel like a champ. For awesome results try BODYCOMBAT 2-3 times per week.
Les Mills Grit
Les Mills’ high intensity interval training workout. Les Mills Grit comes in 3 30-minute formats.
Grit Strength – This workout uses barbells, weight plates and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.
Grit Athletic – This workout uses a step, bodyweight exercises and occasionally weights. It’s a multi-dimensional sports conditioning class to increase your athletic performance, strength, speed, agility and power.
Grit Cardio – This workout will certainly improve your cardiovascular fitness. This workout uses a variety of body weight exercise to maximize calorie burn and get results fast.
Our instructors will coach you through the workout providing alternatives to exercises when needed.
Les Mills Virtual Reality
At Gym64 we know life can get in the way of you attending your favorite classes. With Virtual Reality classes available throughout the day and when our studios are free you can have access to pick and choose which class you want to do in your own time. We have different classes on offer virtually such as BODYCOMBAT, BODYPUMP, RPM and BODYBALANCE. Empowering you to smash your goals! Circuits is a fast-paced class working at different exercise stations for time intervals. Equipment may be used in this class to challenge you such as the assault bike, ski erg, rowing machine, kettlebells, S-Force, barbells, and body weight movements such as press ups. Functional exercises will improve your ability to perform everyday activities and avoid injury. This class is suitable for all abilities.
Spin64 is our very own spin class using top of the range bikes for a moderate to high-intensity indoor cycling workout. Our instructors will guide you through the class working on sprints, seated hill climbs, standing hill climbs and many more to keep you motivated and focused! This class has no impact and a great cardio workout. Our instructors will pump out motivating music to drive you to the end of the class to achieve a large calorie burn. This class is suitable for all abilities and will get you fit fast! Available in a 30 minute or 45-minute format.
Dancefit brings the fun into fitness! With no dance experience required, we let loose and get in a great cardio workout to some amazing tunes. With simple sequences choreographed by our own instructors, this class is suitable for all fitness levels and all dance abilities. Just turn up with a can do attitude and get ready to party!
Outdoor Bootcamp is a 30-minute class in our Bootcamp area using different equipment such as battle ropes, tires, sledge, kegs and much more! This class will improve your strength endurance while achieving a great aerobic workout.
FitFam allows you to bring your little one along with you so you can workout. This class can range from kettlebells, metafit, Les Mills, circuit training to TRX! We provide a safe environment for mums to workout together. Suitable for 0-13 year olds.
50/50 is 2 30-minute classes put together by choice of the instructor. This can range from Les Mills classes to circuit training. You don’t know what you are in for until you turn up!
G64X Small Group Training
G64X is our Group Personal Training class designed to help you achieve your goals. Simply pick your time slot and attend 5x per week. Each class is 30 minutes long. G64X combines the best of group exercise with the attention to detail of personal training to help you improve cardiovascular fitness, power, strength and endurance with functional training. G64X will help you achieve more with a mix of personal trainer attention, camaraderie and intense challenging and varied workouts. This is a great class to keep yourself motivated, meet new friends, and get results! (This class is not included in the membership)
Using multiple pieces of equipment on the gym floor, this workout will challenge both your strength and speed through different functional movements. This type of exercise will support your everyday life, including movements such as pushing, pulling, bending, hinging, squatting, and core. This is something that is rooted in us all, and there are modifications for all to help you reach your fitness goals!
If practiced with consistency, Pilates can improve flexibility, while building strength and developing control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. The core, consisting of the muscles of the abdomen, low back, and hips, is often called the “powerhouse” and is thought to be the key to a person’s stability!
Yoga focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. Yoga is a safe and effective way to build strength, flexibility and balance. This class focuses on postures and breathing to reduce stress and improve energy levels. At Gym64 we provide yoga mats, bricks and blocks so you have everything you need to attend. This class is low-impact and suitable for all ages. In our Dunfermline branch we also have chair yoga classes.
Breaking it down to basics, learn how to lift safely and effectively on the gym floor with one of our in house instructors!
Zumba is a from of aerobic fitness based on Latin American dance rhythms. This class is a mix of low intensity and high intensity moves for a dance style fitness class. This class is super effective and super fun combining all elements of fitness. This class is suitable for beginners and those more experienced in Zumba.

This is a 30-minute class which can consist of EMOMs (every minute on the minute), AMRAPS (as many rounds and reps as possible in a given time), Tabata (20 seconds work 10 seconds rest).
Expect to use different equipment with various exercises to push to your limits.
Legs, Bums and Tums
In this class expect to target your legs, bums and tums using different equipment such as barbells, plates and steps! This class is designed by our very own G64 instructors and varied every week to keep you on your toes! Expect to be doing squats, deadlifts, glute bridges, and core work. This class is suitable for all fitness levels.
Your 30-minute core class.
A strong core builds all the fundamentals for a strong body.
Boxing Circuit is a circuit created by the instructor which involves boxing training. Expect to be doing pad work, hitting the bags along with functional movements and using a variety of equipment. This class is 30 minutes and designed at a fast pace to get your heart rate high. We do ask you bring your own gloves to this class.
