AT GYM64, WE PROVIDE A WIDE RANGE OF YOGA CLASSES IN FIFE, ACROSS OUR DUNFERMLINE, KIRKCALDY AND GLENROTHES BRANCHES. Gym64’s fantastic yoga teachers Morag, and Michelle have years of experience with dedicated followers for many years.

The following styles of yoga are practiced: Asana (move our physical body in a way we detox, become more flexible, healthier as major organs work better, large muscle groups begin to move and we have more mobility.) as well as Pranayama, Tai Chi and Mediation.

Yoga for me was my journey, to find the part of me I learned to accept and love.

Yoga means YOU (Uig in the ancient text of Sanskrit) it’s about ‘coming back to you’ The self we sometimes lose through all that goes on in life!! Bringing us back to appreciate and have gratitude for our body, health and wellbeing. By doing this we can begin to treat ourselves and others with respect, compassion and the love we all deserve.

Hi I’m Michelle, I completed my yoga teacher training with Finlay Wilson (the kilted Yogi) in heart space Dundee and I am a verified Yoga alliance teacher.

I have loved yoga for a lot of years, however I have never loved it more nor has it been more important to me than since becoming a parent. Yoga allows me to have time for just me – with no one needing me for that hour –

Other than me!!

In our busy lives we run from one to do list to the next and I believe that yoga gives us the tools to be able to tackle this with a bit more calm, never underestimate the power of a deep breath!

My body also changed massively after having my child, but yoga allowed me to work gently back to exercise and I’ve never been stronger than when I have had a regular Yoga practice.

Like exercise and the gym, why we do yoga is different for everyone. We are all on the mat for different reasons, I’m excited to practice with you and see what yoga can do for you.
